A dental specialist has dedicated additional years beyond their dental degree for advanced training. Board-certification is the highest accomplishment that can be achieved, which upholds a standard of excellence. Dr. Y and Dr. Rachel are also Diplomates in their fields. This means their credentials have been verified and are maintained annually. Additionally, Dr. Y is one of the very few dual- trained and double board-certified practicing specialists in both pediatric dentistry and orthodontics. Dr Y is both a Dentist and Orthodontist. He has been my kids' Dentist/Orthodontist for the past 16 years. I highly recommend him and his entire office. He is as kind as he is skilled. He hires people that are as wonderful as he is. It is nice that he can handle any changes in your child's teeth while they are still young. My daughter didn't have to have braces for very long because he was so proactive. IPDO office is truly a gem when it comes to dentistry and caring for patients (especially the little ones). Everyone in the office treated my 3 year old daughter with care, genuine interest, and made our appointment quick and easy. It is very important to find a wonderful pediatric dentist, and luckily we found Dr. Y and Dr. Rachel. Thank you for everything, and we will be back!

Brought my son here after trying multiple locations to help us out. Even with the traumatic experiences at the other offices we immediately knew Dr. Y and the amazing staff were the people we could trust with turning things around. Hailey at the front desk was who I spoke with over the phone in between calling around frantically regarding a possible extraction and she made my mama heart feel supported instantly. Dr. Y has a warm demeanor that made an impression on my 4year old and I’m so grateful.

We had a wonderful experience with Irvine Pediatric Dentistry. Our dentist had a gentle approach and warm demeanor which immediately put our 2-year-old at ease during his first visit. The care and patience she exhibited made the dental visit a positive and stress-free experience for both our child and me. The knowledge gained was invaluable as well. Dr. Y and his amazing staff have been compassionate, professional and simply stated awesome through Melissa’s journey for dental health. She presented with multiple decay issues in her baby teeth at the tender age of 4. Dr. Y came in early to treat her. She was on the autism spectrum and easily agitated. Dr. Y and staff treated Melissa with tender care and as if she were the most special patient. Melissa has matriculated from the special Ed program and is a success story. I am grateful for the team at “Wired by Y” who have been there through her journey. As a teacher myself, he has the gift of educating his clients in dental health with a smile, a spring in his step and a genuine care for his clients. Stars x a million Dr. Y.

I couldn't be more pleased with our experience. Dr. Y is a brilliant dentist and this is an excellent practice. I brought my 3 little ones: 2, 4 and 6 y/olds for a check up and they been asking to go back because they miss Dr. Y. Well, if this does not sell it, I don't know what will. Amazing!
