I visited Dr Issa's dental office for the second time today. He took over the practice from Dr. Atkins and the likewise retired Dr Dahlin in the office next door, both of whom were my previous dentists. Besides excellent cleanings by the hygienist I felt I received excellent care and concern from Dr Issa in todays exam. He has also remodelled one of the two offices already which features a flatscreen TV and what must be a 10 foot long built-in aquarium in the new, marble tiled reception area and fresh new operatories with new equipment and similar large flatscreen TVs with beautiful soothing travel flyovers with likewise soothing low volume music. Married to a now retired hygienist of 44 years and having heard a lot of stories over the years, I couldn't be more pleased to have chosen to stay with Dr. Issa's office and the excellent staff! UPDATE 4/14/25: Still with Dr. Issa and on his Adult Wellness Plan since my Medicare Advantage choices are few and not acceptable. He shows the same concern as he had two years ago and hygienist Kim is the best!

Its such a pleasure to write this review about the excellent treatment i received from Dr Issa and his lovely team at Issa dental practice. Dr Issa has a profound personal attentiveness to provide top notch dental work. I came to Dr Issa to have my teeth straightened. After exploring all the different possibilities he had available , we settled on Spark aligners . What amazing results we had and I've never been so pleased with a dentist as i have with Dr Issa. What a remarkable team . From start to finish his relentless care and kindness to create perfection in getting the outcome that's needed so the patient looks and feels good about their smile. I’m absolutely not the easiest and found him and his team incredible in every way . Great service , brilliant sense of humour makes this the only dental Practice i would recommend in Long Beach. I have lived in both Europe and America and Dr Issa has outstanding quality with hight standard comparable to the best of the best. My treatment was a full set of Clear aligners and a urgent mending for a cracked tooth which he resolved with a temporary crown and then a permanent crown. Thanks again for all your wonderful work.

After having had several bad experiences with other dentists, I am so happy to say that Dr. Atkins and his staff are so kind and attentive! From calling to schedule an appointment to going in for my first visit, they were all so nice! During my visit, Dr. Atkins and his assistants were all attentive to what concerns I had and discussed further work that would need to be done and in doing so allowed me a space where I felt safe and heard. I am very grateful to have been recommended to their office and look forward to future visits and would highly recommend them as well!

As always and as no coincidence, every time I’m @ Dr. Atkins for anything I get the greatest service by him and his staff! I’ve been their customer for more than 3 years now and this change I made to his office has definitely been my best option ever speaking of dentists. They make you feel welcome and as if you’re part of their family! They always treat you with respect and courtesy. Thanks a million Dr Don and stuff for being that wonderful!!!! Martín H.

This office has always felt like coming home. The staff are all excellent and have been there for decades. Dr. Atkins is just like a good friend. He always takes the time to ask about me and my family. I really appreciate that he stays current on the dental field and always has new things to share.
