My visits to Karimi Dental have been an absolute joy--from the staff to the quality of communication, I've been pleasantly surprised a dental office can have me leave and come back not only optimistic, but with tangible reason to be! The anesthesia treatment was the most surprising part; painless beyond that first pinch. I've had stubbed toes hurt more than the entirety of my root canal treatment, and with *my* pain threshold, that is saying something, let me tell you. This is going to be my dental office, hands down. The kind doctor was very efficient, but personable. Didn't feel like speaking to a robot, but a guy worried for the health of my mouth. I'm honestly making this my dental office and my family is getting dragged along, too! From the staff to the entirety of the visit, I was well taken care of. Seriously, visit these guys, you won't be disappointed, I promise.

If your looking for an implant dentist? Look no further! Dr k is the best implant dentist by far! I just had 4 post done for my lowers permanent implants with Dr k A week ago there rock solid. I’ve been to many many dentist over the years my last dentist was my worst experience ever!! He convinced me to pull my teeth & said I will put implants in !!! Come to find out he said they would be denture implants after pulling my teeth as time went by he couldn’t get my bottom implants to stay and fell out !!! He put 2 upper implants that are still in my gums to this day!! Finally he just made excuses why he couldn’t do my uppers and told me that I can never have lower implants my gums are too thin! So I did research for years to find someone like Dr K! I’ve been going to him for 2 weeks already on my way to permanent implants!!! He also is just an amazing person that really cares about you and your needs!!! Most dentists just care about getting paid!! Before I ever went in him and I had a long conversation on the phone for consultation!! No dentist has ever done that for me. Bottom line is a great implant specialist that knows what he is doing! I am living proof of that! And he cares about he’s patients and there needs!

If I could give 6 stars I would. The staff is wonderful and couldn’t have been kinder and more sensitive to my discomfort with anything dental related. I needed a crown and some additional work done while I was staying in Long Beach for 30-day treatment for some personal issues and came across Karimi Dental because it was the nearest office to the facility I was at. The staff are wonderful and put me at ease from the moment I entered. If I didn’t live in Los Angeles, this would 100% be the office I go to for everything dental related. They were also very kind regarding the fact that I was going through a rough time personally - ie the reason I was in treatment. I’ll probably find an office closer to me for smaller appointments like cleanings, but think I’ll return to Karimi for any larger needs because I trust them and really appreciate their bedside manner and support. Highly recommend to anyone needing dental work - especially if you’re like me and have a fear of most dental procedures. Thank you again - I appreciate everything you did and the new crown fits and feels amazing. Honestly, better than the actual tooth it replaced. 🙏🫡💙

Love coming here for my cleanings and dental work! I am a Pathways to Independence client and have been a patient of Dr Karimi for over two years. Dr. Karimi is personable and always answers my questions. I grind my teeth and gives me pointers on how to better care for my teeth, including fitting me for my first custom bite guard. I've had several procedures here including sedation/wisdom teeth removal, cleanings and crowns. Their hygenists and office staff are friendly and helpful and it's easy to schedule and reschedule appointments after hours with their answering service. They are flexible with scheduling and are always able to find me an appointment! Parking is also easy here because they have their own dedicated lot at the back of the building.

If I could give negative stars I would. I would never recommend this place to anyone! From the moment you walk in, the office feels unclean, the floors/baseboards are dirty, the whole place gives off an unprofessional vibe. At my first and only appointment, they tried to get me to pay upfront for a bunch of treatments I hadn’t even received yet and wouldn’t receive until another day. When I said I’d think about it and call back, they literally blew up my phone the next morning calling me about 7 times in a rows trying to get my card information for services I hadn’t booked or received. That was the moment I decided I wasn’t going back. Later, when I requested a copy of my X-rays to send to my new (and much better) dentist, they gave me the runaround. They tried to charge me a $50 “administrative fee” just to send the X-rays, which is illegal in California. After I pushed back, they dropped it to $25 out of “goodwill” proving this a made up, quick cash-grab fee. I requested an electronic copy, so their excuse for any “material costs” does not make sense. After weeks of emails and follow-ups, I still have not received my X-rays despite already making multiple valid written requests under my legal right to access my own medical records. This office has shady billing practices, a dirty facility, and zero regard for patients rights. I filed a complaint with the California Dental Board and will be taking legal action since they continue to stall. Save your time, money, and teeth— go anywhere but here.
