I was in search of a new orthodontist after having braces and a retainer as a teenager. As a middle aged adult, my teeth began to move. Dr. Yagake listened to my concerns and addressed them in our consultation. I was fitted for a new retainer. Every follow-up visit has been very informative. Dr. Yagake is very patient and takes the time to make sure you're comfortable and that you understand everything he is doing. I highly recommend Dr. Yagake.

Dr. Yagake is very meticulous with his orthodontic work. I had a severe case of crooked and crowded teeth during my high school years, and Dr. Yagake formed a detailed plan that solved the problem quite flawlessly. His systematic thinking and commendable attention to detail definitely helped throughout the process, considering that my misaligned teeth was not an easy fix. Some parts of my top and bottom teeth overlapped one another, so Dr. Yagake created these "bite-blockers", similar to a retainer placed on the upper roof of the mouth, that essentially prevented the teeth from overlapping while wearing braces. He is well-versed in his craft, only proving that his methodical approach can lead to a straighter, beautiful smile.

Dr. Yagake has always been very attentive and helpful. As a patient with a special case of many missing teeth and misalignment, he was able to give helpful advice throughout the years of treatment on what to do in the future and also how to address current problems with baby teeth and gaps right now. He was very careful to not move my baby teeth in the process while making other adjustments. Also whenever I had an issue after an adjustment like a broken bracket, I was able to have it fixed promptly without having to wait until the next appointment. Because of this flexibility and accessibility, I didn't have to experience severe pain for long periods of time and he was very generous in providing all that I needed such as rubber bands, cases, and tooth brushes. Finally, since he works without the help of any dental assistants, he can keep track of the progress and perform all the adjustments himself. This eliminates problems with misconstrued data, incorrect adjustments, misunderstood instructions, and etc. Therefore, I am very confident that Dr. Yagake would do a great job, and would highly recommend him to anyone who has similar problems or anyone who just wants a better smile.
